No US stores thought they were sensible enough to wear so they did not get them

By the way, I think the sandals are more fab than the pumps. Pumps are gorgeous but the sandals were something else

yes those are very hot!! i just liked the pumps because the heel was conical all the way around, the sandal's heel is rounded in the back and squared off in the front.
the red patent is gorgeous though, if they had that one in the higher heel i'd get the sandal as well.
i talked to lanvin paris today, and according to them, they are not releasing any of the runway height shoes to the public. that really sucks!
i'm letting my pumps go, i hate to because i went through so much drama and money to get them from paris, but i'm into VERY high and dramatic heels this season. anyone get the sky high balenciagas? or are those shortened too?
oh, lanvin also informed me that the turquoise patent shoes were for the runway only. another bummer.

I bet alot of people who ordered from via roma thought they were getting the 6-inch version.

What is the point of making shoes for the runway if they won't be releasing them to public? What do the buyers do at these shows? Pick out stuff they cannot buy for their stores?

... but neither of these are being produced either... the first pair (crocodile/iguana) was featured in new york times magazine and the credit said "show piece only" ....

are these lower-heel crocodiles commercially available??

I'm in ohio so so I wouldn't pay tax

I really like the higher ones so much better, but I still want the ones that were produced. I'm kind of hesitant at $900 though

i'll call Ikram tommorow and see what they have.

After looking at more and more pics I am really upset that so many prototypes were made for runway but only 1 or 2 styles were released to the public.

I will be in NY end of this month and in Europe, different locations end of May beg. of June so I wish I knew I had great chances in landing a pair in any of these locations

I'll call tommorow and ask if they are getting another shipment, didn't even think of that! I'll also call barneys, I know Irkam said they are the only ones in the US that have these shoes but they are not always so credible.

No, they are not the only ones. I told the SA already that Barney's also carries (but out here in Chi) but she seemed to let that comment fly by

Oh well.. funny thing though. There is a Lanvin in Ankara, Turkey I found out. I will call them tomorrow and ask what they have since I will be there in June

I am very surpised to hear they are not selling the runway version. Has anyone tried the Lanvin stand alone store in Paris?

The higher ones are 1000x better, but I still like the lower ones. Are they worth $900 though, should I still get them?
