Lanvin Pre-Fall 2026 Paris

Very beautiful. I love the less dressy pieces!
Very sophisticated.
There’s something quite interesting in the evolution of Peter’s design language in how he has kept his inclination to a very sophisticated, dressy and elevated sensibility but at the same time, it looks nothing like his Vuitton, his Nina Ricci, his ODLR, his Balenciaga but we can see the traces of Demna with the flowy flowers dresses.

He doesn’t really have a signature as a designer but the clothes do look believable with the Lanvin tag on.

Im hoping beyond everything that he will be able to stay and that the suits will try to push it harder than they are doing currently.

Is it a bit Blazy x Lagerfeld for Chanel, but actually more dressy or is that just me ? Perhaps it is a thing of period referencing of the same historical time period of the 1920s roughly. I like it. I think with better marketing and imagery, it could work very well.

Decent clothes, but his Lanvin feels almost invisible. Boring campaigns, boring shows, boring styling. It's all just there. Zero impact.

Close this brand. What a mess.

Since the lighting in the photo is so dark, I allowed myself to post this look again so that we can see a bit more of the dress.

Sometimes all that it needs is a clever twist or drape done in a tactile flannel jersey to create a dress that feels chic and easy at the same time - Jil Sander had pieces like that during the Raf Simons years and it's quiet pieces like that most of my customers looked great in.

Now the big question in this economy is how they are planning to price Copping's Lanvin. They would have an advantage if they kept things reasonable at least on pieces like that.

such grim presentation and crisp photography do bring everything down! lots of great ideas and pieces! it deserved a more elevated exhibition.

I like one dress and two jackets only:

Hate this beyond horrible grey 80s "Pierrot" style print dress. The shoes are too much over designed.

For me the big problem with this collection as well as Peter Copping's previous one is a lack of cohesion in the line-up. It would be nice to see a recurring color palette, design features or styling elements that tie it all together.

Also, I agree these images are neither very effective to evoke an atmosphere nor to display the design of the clothes very well. Something Lanvin cannot really afford after the many years it has not been on the map.

There’s also a lack of glamour and frivolity.
It’s maybe too serious. What’s the promise behind those clothes? Am I going to look fabulous? Am I going to have a good time? To look strong?

Because Lanvin cannot harass us with images and content like others brands are, their visual should give us the world.

This is very « Sad day for a bourgeoise ».

yessss this needs a hardcore insane stylist. Peter is not able to build a world it seems.
his clothes are beautiful tho.

Great coats and jackets, they are really the stars in this collection.

What I love about Peter is that his clothes is always a safe investment, and with the Lanvin tag right now, I think it even more exciting and appealing than those “quiet luxury” brands right now.

But yes it is time that he needs to pump up the visual aspect of his tenure. Good clothes need good styling, good photograph to elevate them.
I mean, obviously the woman i’ll call is Suzanne Koller.
But Peter if you feel a little bit of adventurous next season, call MAS. What you need is scarves as belts, a t-shirt with a tank-top on top under jacket under a coat while carry two bags. Or a dress under a polo shirt with a sweater tied around the hip. Try the MAS touch, and you’ll love it.

I agree with you that this is serious, but it is legitimate to have a serious Lanvin.

Opposite to Schiaparelli or Moschino, it is not necessarily in the codes of the house to be whimsical, quirky or funny.

The fun came from Alber. That was a golden time for Lanvin, but it was also his own vision for the house.

I think what Peter does has its place in the history of the house.
There are some fabulous pieces here.
