This is really strange for Lanvin. I have to say, as much as I appreciate and commend Alber's sense of humour in other facets of Lanvin (their humourous store windows) I think that for a mainline campaign, it does not work. Furthermore, this looks far too much like a Vogue Italia editorial rather than an advertising campaign.

Interesting that they decided to take this approach instead of something more stylized. I wonder why?
