Inspired by the legendary jazz age entertainer Josephine Baker,...Meisel captures the models in exaggerated dance poses and freeze-frames, evoking the passion and sense of fun embodied in the clothing, and Baker herself.

The black and cream backdrop, like the collection itself, is less obvious than it first appears: it is in fact a giant Prada logo, enlarged and abstracted beyond recognition - a Prada twist on branding.

Loving those so much, especially the banana trio shot. And Mariacarla, how brilliant choice is that?

the first two shots posted by GivenchyHomme are perfection! I'm in love with this campaign.

this is the thing about prada... the rare times i don't immediately love a collection, it slowly grows on me as i see it. when it doesn't, i still find it interesting to see in editorials, which is the case with this one. what i didn't expected was to love the campaign this much.
sometimes meisel just knows how to do it.

wow I don't know how Meisel or his team does it but with all the added photoshopping and background it somehow works compared to what we saw in it's raw form.

Where can I see the raw form? I missed it and I really wanna see it! Please

^You can't see them anymore, they have been removed due to the copyrights :flower:

I really can't wait to see the whole campaign and take a look at the shots in the real life.

When the first (now deleted) pics surfaced this campaign really came in for some stick around here. But these are great images and are true to the runway show.
The colours are superb and they look great in print. The casting is fabulous, but for me the weakest link here is Arizona. She really shines in the YSl ads, but up against stronger girls such as MCB & Kinga, she doesn't really stand a chance.
Very impressive this season and to be fair Prada have had some pretty bad ads lately IMO.

The More pics surface, the more I love this campaign.
The colors warm you up. I love the poses as well, they have something quite silly which paired with the clothes make the ad looks almost ironic.
I like the Josephine Baker inpiration, I'd already noticed it during the show.
The only thing that bugs me, is the all-white cast. I think this was definitely a campaign and collection that needed models of color.

It was a long time since I loved a Prada campaign this much the background works so well and I love the lightnenig the photos have

This is the first time I wish Prada wouldn't stick to the runway show hair and make-up, it's horrible.

And though I like it and some shots are really great, I'd love to see womenswear shot by Willy Vanderperre too, the minimalistic concept for men's collection is beyond amazing.
