i think lara likes the idea of being famous enough of a 'model' to fly her own hair/makeup team aka. best friend with her all around the world for work (ie., all around sydney). in reality it just makes her seem like a diva without the resume to back it up.
lara, you are no more or less important than anyone else was on DWTS. im sure all the other females have people/friends they would have liked doing their own styling too...

i think she is a gorgeous girl. but i think she looks best when she is natural and sun kissed. too much contouring and dramatic makeup looks odd on her, as she has a 'round' face and it ends up looking clown-ish rather than edgy in a lot of cases. perhaps this makes her not suited to be a model...
im looking forward to see where she pops up next!

haha yes i have heard about her coffee table book. she is after all the foremost opinion on fashion in aus. and her sunglasses line because no one has done sunglasses and bikini lines are cliche.
i might have to get up to watch that interview! love checking out her wardrobe.

I think she needs to totally reinvent herself I mean, images of her wearing leather to the beach (in DWTS), and exercising in fur and leather (as seen in newspaper) don't help her cause. She needs to go to America or something, just to create a whole new image for herself. The who diva/supermodel/edgy look doesn't work for her as she has the hair of a beach babe. I would genuinely like to see her give another shot at modelling, but she needs to give us a break from her for a least 6 months, then come out of nowhere and wow us. She will never make it in television as she does not have much personality. Imo she is trying to make herself a style icon in Australia. I would like her to change the hair colour, that could be different.

i agree with everything you said. i think everyone is just a bit 'meh' about her atm... she has definitely lost that bikini babe wow factor.. and part of me is glad. i hope she will mature into different avenues but i think she just needs to stay out of the media and go off and work hard! you are right, her personality isnt made for tv. she is just the girl next door and there is nothing wrong with that.

i actually saw her out over xmas time in ny with a similar circle... my i was shocked out how... regular she was. i am 5'6 (on a good day haha) and she is definitely no taller than that. though i dont claim to know her, she looked happy and relaxed and not trying to be 'lara bingle style icon'. and it made her more attractive imo! i wonder how brown hair would look...

IT didn't take long for Lara Bingle's latest bungle.

The ousted Dancing with the Stars contestant has been making headlines over issues ranging from her awkward love triangle with rugby import Danny Cipriani and US singer Jason Derulo to a clash of egos - dubbed "hairgate" - with judge Todd McKenney.

And after ruffling the feathers of fellow contestants by missing rehearsals and pulling sickies we thought that was the end of Bingle's bungles.

Until she let the cat out of the bag about good friends and Amazing Race Australia contestants Tyler Atkins and Nathan Joliffe.

Producers have gone to great lengths to keep the result of the reality show a secret.

The blonde bombshell delivered a, er, bombshell of her own when she let slip about the Sydney surfers' performance on the show.

We won't reveal any spoilers, but Seven can't help smiling, through gritted teeth, about the headline grabber who is garnering plenty of attention for their shows.

And despite the antics, it appears the sometime-bikini babe is in hot contention to return to the network - they just don't know in what form yet.

Meanwhile, Cipriani was said to have been spied at Wimbledon yesterday, but we believe he is closer to home, travelling between Sydney, where Bingle is based, and Melbourne.

LARA Bingle's love of fur has come back to bite her.

Animal-rights campaigners have slammed the ex Dancing With The Stars contestant for her fur coat collection.

A Facebook site criticising the 24-year-old, whose favourite pieces include a fox pelt Isabel Marant coat and numerous rabbit fur jackets, which are currently back in fashion, has been created, labelling her a "fur-wearing hag".

Bingle has openly voiced her love of animal pelts, posting on Twitter in February: "FUR FUR FUR! I LOVEEEE THIS COLLECTION!" referring to label The Row's autumn 2011 range, which features pieces made from fox, mink and crocodile.

People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals said: "I'm sure Lara would not want to be on PETA's Australian worst-dressed list. She's our top nomination.

"I think if she knew how animals spend their entire lives pacing in tiny, filthy wire cages - and they often go insane before they are killed - she might think differently about wearing fur."

Bingle's management refused to comment.

as much as i am not a lara fan, i think people take any chance to get on her case. there are numerous australian celebrities who wear fur... not to mention the designers using fur.
i think lara is well aware of the treatment of the animals for fashions use.. unless you are living under a rock, im sure most people do.. some people just have different stances on different issues/place more importance on some over others..

i never saw the good morning australia?? (i forget which morning show it was) segment the other day. i will hunt it down on youtube.

Bingle opens up to WHO about finding 'Mr Right'
Model Lara Bingle has opened up about her romance with rugby star Danny Cipriani, confirming the relationship "just feels right" in a candid interview with WHO.

Following her successful stint on Dancing with the Stars, Bingle, 24, and Melbourne Rebels player Cipriani, 23, are enjoying a tropical getaway together on the French Polynesian island of Bora Bora. "It's been so nice to be able to just hang out and get away from everything," the Sydney based star says from her island bungalow. "With Danny it's just so easy—he gets me and my life and I get his. He's really supportive of what I do."


Lara Bingle and Danny Cipriani share an intimate moment on the cover of WHO this week, on sale July 22. Lara Bingle's hot leopard print bikini is by Tigerlily.

The revealing interview marks the first time Bingle has spoken publicly about a relationship since the public disintegration of her engagement to Australian cricket captain Michael Clarke in March 2010. "After my relationship with Michael I've realised that sometimes it's better to speak out rather than trying to hide it," she says. "But I feel like I want to protect this relationship more."

Images of Bingle and Cipriani kissing passionately during their summer escape have ruled out rumours suggesting she was set to reconcile with former flame, US singer Jason Derulo, who coincidentally arrives into Sydney today for a promotional gig over the weekend. "He's one of the nicest guys I've met, but he lives in the US and I live in Australia so it was a hard thing to continue," she concedes. "But we're still friends, we still hang out if we're in the same place."

Lara and Danny hit the brakes
THE brief relationship between Lara Bingle and Melbourne Rebels rugby player Danny Cipriani is all over.

The couple split soon after they returned from a holiday in Tahiti two weeks ago, sources confirmed to the Sunday Herald Sun.

It's believed Cipriani is on his way home to London for a couple of months during the off season with the Melbourne Rebels, and wanted no distractions as he concentrates on rebuilding his rugby career.

At the David Jones fashion show in Sydney on Thursday night, Bingle gave no indication that she was single other than that she was accompanied by her best friend, make-up artist Max May, rather than Cipriani.

She told the Herald Sun Cipriani was "great."

Just two weeks ago, Who Weekly bought pictures of the couple on the beach at Bora Bora and Bingle told the magazine how in love she was.

It's believed Bingle still has hopes the two may rekindle the romance when he returns to Australia.

The couple were first seen out together in late June. They met while Bingle was in Melbourne for Dancing with the Stars.

At the time Bingle was linked to American singer Jason Derulo.

A British production company is producing a pilot for a show based on her life. Friends Kyle Sandilands and Erin McNaught are involved.

Lara Bingle wants own reality TV show
Melbourne, Oct 22 (ANI Australian fashion model Lara Bingle wants her life dramas captured through a reality TV series.

According to the Herald Sun, Bingle, 24, has exposed her life to the cameras in a pilot for a reality show and is weighing up whether to push ahead with a full-blown series.

The sultry swimwear model has sought advice for the project from US TV host Ryan Seacrest and from close pal, radio shock jock Kyle Sandilands.

“It went really well and it is really funny,” Bingle said of the pilot she filmed in July,” News.com.au quoted her as saying.

“Hermione (Underwood, her manager) was in it, Max (May) and my family were in it.

“We did it over a week and it was pretty funny looking back over it. It is very real.”

Bingle was surprised how much happened in a week of her life.

“It is crazy. You don’t really magnify your life. Everything kind of passes by,” she said.

“Every day is different in my life, so it was weird to see it,” she added. (ANI)
