Lara Stone

and what do you mean alix*? if you read it as her amount of work was slowing down, then i understand what you are saying, but lara did consider retiring after the pirelli calendar and that is what the article is talking about...

Oh I read that as the amount of work she has been doing was slowing down, not her wanting to retire. Oops.

But I hope the sales from this issue (which hopefully will be high... should be a given no? :innocent:) will make her realize that she just can't retire. Ever. Because carine will always have an obsession with her (bless carine)

But that's not all that has the editor-in-chief gushing. “February (French Vogue) is an entire issue with (model) Lara Stone and the cover line is Et Vogue Créa Lara." Taken from Roger Vadim’s 1956 classic Et Dieu Créa La Femme, starring Brigitte Bardot, the issue includes shoots by Inez van Lamsweerde, Peter Lindbergh, Hedi Slimane, Nan Goldin and Steven Klein. “Lara had almost stopped working so I decided I wanted to make her a star,” explained Roitfeld

I hope it will be fantastic! I love the bardot movie "et dieu créa la femme", she's so young and beyond beautiful in it. I wonder if they took more inspiration from that movie than the title... ?

I painted a picture of Lara today. I know it looks a bit Omahyra Mota like but i tried my best, so i hope you like it.
Oh by the way... if Lara's mum reads this: Your daughter is a great inspiration! :flower:

She`s so natural..I love the ed. I hope I`ll get Vogue Paris in my hands in february....I know only couple words in French, but for Lara I must get that issue.

oh, so, as i suppose, not without slight p*rn... Bruce weber shots looks like sreencaps from a raw independant EU movie, which story is absolutely made out of thin air: strange relationships between 3 absolutely different people from different planets, love triangle, and, for sure, not without bisexuality in very strange way...hating weber works

^ i agree with you there... i don't care for the editorial itself. erotic eds can be both sexually and intellectually stimulating, but this fails on both counts. it feels contrived. that being said, lara looks gorgeous, and i'll take as much of her as i can get.

I think she looks gorgeous, but it isn't anything new. The editorial is stunning despite it all, perhaps it is the b/w setting?

Lara Stone for French Vogue: Confirmed

So yes, Lara Stone will have an entire issue of French Vogue just for her. But unlike Kate Moss’ “guest edit” stint from ‘06, she won’t have any creative control over the magazine - no styling, no writing, just 100+ pages of Lara rocking out.
When we asked someone at French Vogue why, she just said, “Have you ever met Lara Stone? If you met her, you would know. She’s an amazing person.”
Well okay, then.
We’re not gonna argue with the shooting star of a girl whose hips and breasts are - dare we say it - normal, and if she’s cool as hell?
Even better.
Lara, good luck on your journey.

I can't handle all the beauty in this thread :heart:

I really like the VI editorial.. because of her face! and hair. She is natural and stunning. Reminds me of her editorial in May's Vogue Paris.. absolutely ethereal.
