Year after year, Cannes serves as a meeting point for the beautiful and talented, and this year is clearly no exception. The Independent Filmmaker Project, CalvinKlein Collection, and euphoria Calvin Klein honored a selection of women who made an impact on independent film at a cocktail event on Thursday, hosted by Francisco Costa at Hotel Martinez’s beach which vitaminwater took over for the festival. With this year’s host came a lovely meeting of the previous Calvin Klein exclusive face, Natalia Vodianova, and the current exclusive face Lara Stone, for a night of film tributes and model moments.

Both muses were encamped at Francisco’s table for the evening, where Lara let it slip that she’ll be attending Kate Moss‘ wedding this summer! Though the invitation is secured, she’s already stressing out about her current wardrobe situation. “I’m having a panic about it,” she said. “I mean what do you wear?”

With this year’s focus on women in film, both Lara and Natalia were prime attendees. Though Lara has yet to make her move into the film business, she has a specific role in mind. Natalia’s dipped her acting talents into the pool of film, starring as Medusa in Crash of the Titans and Ariane in Belle du Seigneur, but has no plans to move to Hollywood any time soon.

What was she thinking when she wore these shoes with this dress??

I agree the shoes were terrible with the dress and completely ruined the look. The dress might have been salvageable had she worn stilettos with it instead. But we'll never know for sure. Nothing against those gladiator sandals though, they would have looked great with jeans or shorts just not with an evening gown.

A little info on her next Calvin campaign

The rising star of IMG Daria Zhemkova is getting real busy in New York City. She recently shot with Craig McDean along with Calvin Klein muse Lara Stone one of their latest campaigns styled by Olivier Rizzo. Some really edgy dark blue makeup was applied on both of the models. Even though she was literally Lara's shadow and she had a very small part in the campaign we are excited for Daria.
