Lara Stone

Brigitte Bardot on acid...hmmm I like the sound of that ;)

I did enjoy it, but it seems it's not even sure what it's meant to be.....

Yes....this looks like one of those bad, bad trips that looks so good. Hhaha. Or actually, one of the shots is reminiscent of Gia's November 1980 American Vogue story with Scavullo....and that one, and this, looks a bit like...Why are you annoying me with all this beauty, I have to get out of here and go downtown....

The W editorial looks so good when you see it in thumbnails...

 Agreed! When I saw the pics and the bad reactions of everyone on here I was just thinking "What's wrong? That ed looks amazing" ... when opening the thumbnails  Well, let's put it like this: I love Lara, I am a fan of beach-eds and I like Inez and Vinoodh - so, one cr***y ed is acceptable.
For US Vogue: cannot even express how happy I was when seeing Lara on the cover (even if it's not the main page), not to mention her look in the godfather ed  She truly is the face of the moment! I mean, just look at all the work she's getting. Very happy for her.

I'm surprised at all the revulsion for the makeup in the W ed; I think it's fun in a cartoony way. I wouldn't want her to look like that all the time, I admit it...

Oh Lord......that ed. is baaaaaddd:shock:
Lara is one of the exceptional models of our time, but......her styling really needs to be thought through or she will look strange, odd, unattractive.......and they got this all wrong:doh:
I wish I could see it in a 'fun, cartoony way' but unfortunately I only see 'not good':(

Well she ain't always gonna do good eds, so we'll put this down to a blip in her career........hope there aren't any more.

Still an utterly fantastic model.B)

I like it too....she makes that 90s lipliner thing work. Kudos to Lara. :D

IA about the ed being kinda cheeky. it's definitely not her best, that's for sure...

I subscribe to W & i'm obsessed with Lara, so this is probably going on my wall either way, lol :D

I also love this ed :ninja:
It's so.... extreme, with all the contrasting colors, lights and shadows everywhere... The ugly, 90's style makeup just adds to the weirdness. All in all I find this ed so very captivating.

I have never heard her voice and when I saw the style.com video I thought like :shock:

^I love it either! Many people say they hate it, but I think it's pretty well matching her anti-model image ^_^

Same here!

i agree with Jungla_Juana too. the moment i saw that ed i hated the lipliner, but it's grown on me. the makeup itself is undeniably ugly, but it works, it's ugly in a weirdly good brigitte-bardot-on-acid (i loved this, Thanatos) way. i love the contrast between the sunny beach and her dark mood - it's a very simple concept, but the oddness of the styling (plus the great model choice) saved it from being too obvious...

If they were going for Brigitte Bardot, they could've made it so much more sexy and interesting. M&M could've done wonders with that theme and Lara...
