Lara Stone

When I first saw that Vogue Paris cover I stared at it for about 20 seconds...my brain just stopped working. What a bomb. Lara, woman, you just...jeeezzzz.

gosh, i love the numero cover, extremely fierce :heart: i think it looks better than the VP one. i'm not so into the brown hair

I am not sure if it is the brown hair or the styling on the VP cover that I don't like-she seems to have lost the harsh vampire scowl (which I adored) and looks so.......ordinary???

It has nothing to do with the styling or hair color, it's because of her expression. The cover shows that she does not have to constantly look like and fall into the mold of a scowling sex monster, which is why i like it so much. It shows her versatility as a model.

What do you all think? Is her hair just temporarily colored dark? A wig perhaps? They've given her eyebrows, more color in the face (a tan really) and a lot more makeup than I have seen her wear. Maybe it is also that her lips are closed so her teeth aren't showing, but she looks completely transformed and like a completely different person! :shock: I really love it! :heart::D
I think it was just a temporary change. During the couture shows she was back to her normal self with blonde hair and eyebrows. But who knows, maybe she shot a couple of editorials before dying her hair back (like Karlie did with her red hair).

And I think the Numero cover that journaux.fr posted on their site (#615) is a little skewed, which is why Lara's face looks strange. If you compared it to elsaskywalker's snap (#577), her face and the text look longer and streched out on the journaux.fr version.

^ I use to think her V magazine before&after shot is the best example showing her versatility. But this cover hands down trumps that.

Thanks for posting the video.
Just can't help smiling when she smiles

I have just seen Vogue Paris ...

THAT IS F*CKING AMAZING ! :shock::shock::shock:
What a change, that's unbelievable.
I shall have been unable to recognize her! She reminds me a bit natalie portman like this.
She's very pretty on that cover. :heart: But her eyes seems blue :huh:

i love the VP cover and ed... SO stunning! and so much softer and so classy! it just shows such a different side of her modelling, i am just in awe :wub:
