Lara Stone

the only interesting thing about that article was them calling her a 'Supermodel'.

if she pushed Hanne down the stairs, it's a real b!tchmove :yuk:
pushing people down stairs is rather stupid than cool ...

I was only a stair with two or three steps as Lara said herself in the interview, so it's harldy a big thing let alone a bitchmove or something Lara said just to be cool.

^yeah, Lara could have said it to keep the bad-girl cool image thing... you know she's gotten kicked out of school, smokes a lot, went to rehab, etc.
*ana* is right, it's a pretty natural instinct to push someone out of the way, when they're ignoring you after you say "excuse me", which is rude of them. It was also ruder of the model, whoever it was, to hold up the show (and likely other models) by doing that, because backstage does not need to be more chaotic.

Anyway, love the photos in #1410

Louis Vuitton President Comes This Close to Confirming Lara Stone for the Spring Campaign

Though Madonna is no longer the face of Louis Vuitton, the label hasn't formally confirmed Lara Stone for the spring 2010 ad campaigns. However, last night at Vuitton's 2010 cruise collection launch, intrepid party reporter Tina Peng prodded Daniel Lalonde, the label's president and CEO, for more information. Their exchange:

Madonna's not doing your campaign anymore — can you tell us a little about that decision?
Well, as you know, Madonna worked with us for two campaigns. We have a tendency to always change the person responsible, the ambassador for each campaign. So it's a very natural, organic thing for us.

And can you tell us why you decided on Lara Stone?
I think she's very fresh and someone who embodies a lot of the values of the brand, and a lot of talent and a lot of beauty. I think it makes a lot of sense for the fashion part of our campaign, in addition to working on another part, which is the core values part of our campaign, with the astronaut, Sean Connery, that whole side. I think it balances really the duality of Louis Vuitton, being based in travel and fashion at the same time.

So it sounds like Lara for Vuitton for spring is pretty much a done deal.

Lara is getting gossip :D Those comments always make me laugh. She is certainly not ugly, as a lot of them are saying.

^ I know what you mean. There is an article about her and david on dailymail.co.uk and the comments...gee! Like, She should grow some eyebrows or i see prettier girls at the bus stop everyday.

If they actually do, they should sign them up at a modelling agency. Those commenters are so annoying. A new mother can't go out or she is slammed as a bad mother by them. And that is one of the many examples showed there.

Wow Lara and those two guys are looking quite delicious.

Re those comments: eh forget them, they don't know the meaning of ferocity. I'm sure they wouldn't be saying those things if they met Lara in person cause who knows what she can do to them :shifty:

I believe they were posted in the old thread.. so you can maybe find it there.

there were pictures of lara stone in 'blackface' in french vogue on the daily show last night when they were discussing blackface. i neeeever thought i'd see her there!
