When David Walliams *married stunning Lara Stone, there was one* burning *question on all our lips.

How did an ordinary-looking, *extremely camp *comedian like David ever seduce a *supermodel?

Now we have the answer. “He stalked me,” joked Lara, 28.

And when asked if it was love at first sight, she said: “To him it was!”

The Dutch beauty, who wed 40-year-old David two years ago after a *four-month whirlwind romance, clearly shares the Britain’s Got Talent judge’s sense of humour and *individuality.

“I think people like it when you have a bit of personality,” she says. “It helps that I am not afraid to say what I want to do and what I don’t want to do.”

And Lara is just as forthright when it comes to her body image.

Although Lara is enjoying settling down – having *recently added a Border Terrier pup called Bert to the family – she has been through some tough times in the past.

After battling alcoholism, she checked in to rehab in 2009 and has now been sober for three years. She later said: “The *drinking was *etting way out of *control. I just didn’t recognise myself any more.”

With all that firmly behind her, is she considering starting a family?

She certainly doesn’t seem in a rush, *telling Dutch Vogue: “A baby will *probably never be as fun as Bert.”
