Here are the latest Steve Madden pumps. He call them BROIL. I could not agree more! I think they are soooo hot!

They have everything I like - Nice Pointed Toe, Tall Thin Heel, Open Sides

   them

what's with the pattern stealing from Pucci?

Faust

I wouldn't know. But I don't like their JAP ads all over the city. It promotes materialism and consumerism. Yea, yea, yea, this is the fashion forum, I know...

You make materialism sound like a bad thing.......

Anyway, I do not like any of Steve Madden's shoes. I mean, they're always a little late on the trends. Although this shoe is relatively classic and nice looking compared to most that he makes. Still though, nothing original from him, ever.

BTW, My mom went to school with him, said he was kind of a shmuck.

Steve Madden, i dont think his shoes are that famous here in the UK, we have an actor called Steve McFadden, in a program called 'Eastenders'. Every time i hear the name, it reminds me of the actor.

Yes. Those shoes aren't exactly serious business corporate material...

Not many Steve Madden fans here I guess?

He's in jail and went to school with somebody's mother?

Amazing what you can learn on the net.

And I got big news for a couple of you - fashion is one of the biggest
forms of materialism, why else would any of us be buying more
clothes than we REALLY need?

it depends. for some, fashion is a form of materialism, for others, its a form of expressing themselves

I agree.

I must be honest, though... to me, it's a little of both :innocent:

:ninja:

Faust
it seems to me that all ads for "materials" promote consumerism.
And if they don't....we like to call that plain ol' bad advertising in the business ;)

JAP=Jewish-American Princess, a stereotype of a rich shallow capricious daddy's girl. They have posters depicting one in front of a mansion with two ferrari-looking cars and high gates walking two small dogs with an attitude of a hollywood star. That's the image they strive to promote as an ideal to today's youth - truly disgusting :yuk:
