all i know is DO NOT get a facial a few days prior, especially if you're not a regular.
for no facial bloating etc- no alchohol, no bread etc, ... healthy diet- eat salmon, lots of water, miso soup.
If the special event is just a few days away: But sometimes if you're usually not very healthy etc, eating healthy foods or detoxing etc can cause breakouts etc as the body tries to get rid of toxins, so in that case, just stick to what you're used to but increase water and sleep and don't overhaul your entire diet.
