Led Zeppelin

Has any1 heard a band called 'Small Faces'? I only looked into them cause I like that song called Itchycoo Park. When I heard some of their other stuff I was like this sounds like a lot like Zep so I googled them and yea apparently Zep took some of their riffs and stuff.

So yar yar check em out if you like your Zep like I do

I can hear the relation to Led Zeppelin as well. Small Faces is a pretty good band, I also recommend them.

I wish they could do a world tour for the last time once more. I gotta see them. And all of the old 70's 80's rockbands.:woot:

Led Zeppelin is one of my absolute 4 fave bands! :woot: God, how I LOVE Led Zeppelin, I have almost all their albums, and I'm listening to them in this moment. I have a lot of magazines, posters, tees, pictures on the wall of my room... Ah.

Though, I don't listen to their music as much in the winter as in the spring and summer. I consider it so sexy that I never have a mood to listen to it in the winter (when I'm mostly in listen-to-deppressive-music-mood). Oh, listening to Led Zep is one of the best signs that spring is here! :woot:

Well, Bonham is dead... It would never be the same without him.

I wished I had a time-machine, so I could go back to the '70s. :crush:

Wowzes!I love Led Zeppelin, they are one of my favorites bands,I am so addicted to of some of their songs, that I need to leasten it almost every day!!!

I think would be amazing if they could get back together again even with one different member, like The Doors of the 21s Century did (but in this case wasn't a good idea to change the most important member and keep with the band's name)

My favorites songs :crush:

Dazed and Confused
Immigrant Song
Communicaton Breakdown
Whole Lotta Love
All My Love
You Shook Me
Black Dog
Rock and Roll
and ...

( sorry for my bad english)

Led Zep is one of the best bands in the world, and they've got the best lead guitarist, and drummer. My fave song is Stairway to Heaven, I could listen to it everyday, and Jimmy's solo is the best solo I've ever heard.

Man, why did they have to die!!!!!!!!!! There are so many bands that were so good and big but all of a sudden, one important band member dies. And some have to stop the band. It's so sad. Anyway their music lives on forever!

I love Led Zeppelin, they're my obessession. My favorite songs of their's are...

Stairway to Heaven
Immigrant Song
Kashmir
Nobody's Fault But Mine
Good Times, Bad Times
Dazed and Confused

B) My fav line from Zep. Have you tried listening to the song backwards? Apparently there is some hidden (and satanic) message. Anyone who knows wanna elaborate?

haha funny you should ask because I was obsessed with this whole "satanic message thing." Apparently if you listen to the "If theres a bustle in your hedgerow..." verse backwards you can hear the words "Oh, here's to my sweet Satan." A lot of people started linking this to Page because he wrote it and he was really into mysticism. Then bad things started happening to the guys in the band (ie: Plant's son died and they had to cancel some concerts, JPJ broke his index finger and couldn't play his bass and of course there was Bonham's death later on) but nothing ever happened to Page.

So what does Page have to say about this? Does he or did he confirm the existence of a backwards message?

my dad is absolutely huge fan of them, so i did grew up listening them all the time. i remember when i was 7 years old my dad ws fixing his card and playin their music so loud that our neighbours were mad and yelling us, he did not care just singing along and drummin with his hands HAHHA
later that day we watched together die hard movies and jaw...i have pretty cool dad.
anyways, i own two led zeppelin album and listen them occassionally, i respect their music and i love the way they play.

Right now I'm reading Led Zeppelin: Good Times, Bad Times, it's a beautiful visual biography. I love all the old photographs and the late 60s/early 70s style. And the paper the book is printed on is quite nice (and being such a bibliophile, I take note of the paper, and the way the pages smell, the way the reading experience feels to the touch.) I'd definitely recommend the book to you all, if your fans. :flower: Think I might scan a few of my favorite photos from it, and post them here later. ^_^
