I didn't see Blood Diamond yet, but i'm glad he got an Oscar nom! But is there some sort of Titanic curse, he and Kate Winslet keep getting nominated but never win! Somehow I don't think this is going to be their year either

i agree. it's either going to be whitaker or o'toole's (finally!) year. it doesn't take anything away from leo's performance though...and he's young enough that he's probably not done his best work yet.

I can't get some clear just ones yet...grr.

I like his hair slicked back...but I guess he only pulls out that look for the award shows or else it just gets old. He looks very classy here though, as per usual.

I'm so happy Djimon got an Oscar nom as well - he was VERY good in Blood Diamond

That's shocking...I can't really see Leo in The Matrix.

Also weird about The Beach - I think Ewan might have been better in that role though. Wasn't the original Richard British, in the book?

I know what you mean but I keep hearing how this is not his year and it really surprises me. I mean, winning the Oscar doesn´t determine if it is or isn´t your year. I think Leo is having an amazing year, whether he wins or he doesn´t. 2 amazing performances in 2 great movies.

I think this is definitely his year, no matter what happens next month. People look at him in a totally different way now.

I hope you're right. It's sad that some people still don't take him seriously as an actor despite all he's done to prove himself. I mean everyone is entitled to their opinion, but like him or not he's more than a pretty boy
