Libertine S/S 06 New York

Actually I found 5 outfits that I like a little.
But I don't think it is summer clothes either.

OMG...a show this bad could put a small company like this out of business...
it's so so bad!!!....:o

and the styling!!...
those purple tights and beads with everything...
just makes the whole thing look so juvenile and cheap and amateurish...

i'm sad....:(

It looks a bit comic really. Too literal. I don't actually understand what this collection is about.

Well, I'm pretty positive it's *meant* to be witty. The problem with that, of course, is that a) some people think clothes should be deadly serious, b) not everyone thinks the same stuff is funny, and c) sometimes jokes wear thin when repeated.

I'm not familiar with this line & to be completely honest I don't really care enough to go research past collections :p I agree with softgrey that all the Mardi Gras beads don't exactly add anything, but overall I see it as an interesting, witty collection that's certainly not like anything else out there. And the reworked, one-of-a-kind aspect appeals to me as well. And the gorgeous guy wearing the shorts (don't remember if that pic is here) didn't hurt :innocent:
