^That first shot is amazing. There has to have been something really spectacular about the film stock they were using. It still looks incredible almost a hundred years later.

beautiful beautiful thread.well,how else could it be.she was grace personified.a timeless beauty.if you just watch her in whales of august.she was more than 90 years old at that time and still hadn´t changed a lot.the fragile yet strong girl was still visible in her face...
