Hey everyone
Does anyone have any ideas of what i could use to mix with an eyeshadow to make it a liquid.

I have tried moisturizer but i thought that might be too harsh for around the eyes.

I need to know for my portfolio- i'm creating a lime green ( mask like) look around the eyes :)

Hope you can help

actually, if you use a visine- or water-dampened brush to apply your eyeshadow, all it does is make the shadow go on with a more intense colour...it's good to enhance the metallic effect of a metallised eyeshadow... it really won't make your shadow a "liquid" per se...in the instance that you want to use it as a liquid eye liner, perhaps.

for making an eyeshadow into a liquid, i suggest you try too faced liquif-eye or ben nye's liquiset.

chanel do an eyeshaddow which goes on like a liquid and drys like a powder, might be worth investing in something like that, it would be easier. but money is a factor then water should be fine :flower:

chanel?? hehe sounds expensive
lol yeah at the moment it is a problem especially when i'm only going to use it once

i'll try those out- thanks :)

Now all i need to do is hunt down a bright lime-green eyeshadow lol

Doesnt Nars or Smashbox make a "transformer"? Maybe that is only to make eye liner as Brian mentioned visine and water do as well... i'm not sure though check it out.

I've been using Too-Faced Liquif-Eye. I bought it for $17.50 at Nordstroms. Better than water, as it turns eyeshadow into a decent water-resistant, smudge-proof liquid liner (but washes off easily). I wonder what the solution is made of to make it worth the $17.50 (It's odorless, colorless... might as well be Visine?)

Oh, also... I've learned it's important to clean the tip of the brush (built into cap) before putting it back into the bottle after use.
