VSFS is quite tempting this year but will not waver my stance on not walking the show. Even more inclined that she’s likely not there given the people involved. Besides Liu’s Ubras contract may prevent her from taking part as Incanus mentioned.

It doesn’t mean anything but her being active on Instagram sometimes always mean she’s got enough free time to do whatever/on the move – just hope she’s on her way to some other job or rather, see her walk on Thursday…

It’s reported that Liu Wen will walk the 2024 VSFS. The only public news out is indeed from a reputable source (who is usually privy to fashion and the models themselves).

Hope they were misinformed. But they wouldn’t mess and publish that tidbit if it isn’t true.

Think it’s because Ubras is more undergarments oriented and not necessarily lingerie, therefore there’s probably no clause prohibiting her from doing VS. My guess…

Surely Tuesday morning there will be more (press) news if they are lenient.

Are you nervous at all?

Not yet, but maybe when the music starts and everyone is lining up to walk out, I'll be more nervous. Now everyone is engaged and I’m chatting with friends backstage, and the atmosphere is relaxed and happy. Though I think it's a good thing to be nervous. It helps me to work more. It's a good way to enjoy the full experience.


When do you think you are the sexiest?

This question is a bit... LOL. I think I'm the sexiest when I laugh.

Classy classy classy. Absolutely beyond gorgeous. Very angelic in her look, the colors complements, the post makeup, and her demeanor (plus thanks to that ultra stage glow too).

Personally want more oomph in the walk and more intensity and allure in the face, but she’s a professional and played her elegant, princess role. That was a solid A.

Just learned that she could have flown back to China already. If so, it sucks that she won’t be at Armani then (as if he’d cast a bunch of big names). Was banking on Liu Wen to walk his NY show, after all, sounds like it’d be quite the celebration and make this an exception. And the few rare opportunities she could potentially walk outside his Milanese showing.

Wish he’d stage a collection in China and hire Wen. Only option I could see happening.

Congrats on his 90th (and for her two Armani campaigns).

Waver? Talk about Armani not wavering its continual utilization of lesser-named models (good for him and the models). Oh well. Didn’t matter. Liu Wen was too busy being a boss with her Erdos collab – couldn’t even make to Vogue China’s inaugural ceremony with Rocco and some very star-studded names.

I concede that VSFS was the right show to walk…

Apparently she’s still in Paris and that is five days counting… not sure but if it’s for a Chinese project hopefully it’s a future cover story. Would be nice if it’s for a French/Italian campaign.

She very well could be in the USA as of now. :crossedfingers:

If I may, since it’s NYC, wish we could get something like what Lana got with Meisel – something simple in his signature style and capturing Wen’s beauty in a timeless approach. When can this pair make some gorgeous portraits together. Need Chris, Vicky, George, Chanel and her savvy Chinese PR team to make it a reality. Please please please. Unlikely, but maybe Steven should shoot for Chinese publications… :woot:
