Me too. FW12 had a lot of extra live streams with Balenciaga, Dior etc, and I thought that would open the floodgates, particularly with brands like YSL who (I believe...) stream menswear, but it didn't really happen.
Paris don't offer their own live stream like London, New York and Milan so that accounts for a lot of it, plus I think they quite like the 'exclusivity' and don't want to be too commercial. It's all bit of a nonsense really though.
I think for a show to live stream they need to involve another company who deal with content delivery (ie, broadcasting the live stream) whereas it's a lot easier to record then stick onto Youtube. Hopefully a live stream broadcaster will convince the designers in Paris they need to live stream. You only need to look at a lot of the Paris designers' websites and FB pages to see how little they value online presence - it's like being in the 1990s or something.
