Post a pic of some unknown European model in the ID thread and someone will be able to identify her and talk about her as if she's legendary. Can you believe Liya is one of the better known models and been around for a while yet some still don't know her name? Go figure...

^It does make me sad, that might be the wrong word, when models are underrated but to me Liya does have that have that 'special' status. I love that she attends so many events, as she has lovely style.

(NEW YORK) Mothers and girlfriends are always safe bets for those daunting walks up the long red carpet, but nothing less than a trio of fashionable femmes will do for Michael Kors come Monday’s CFDA Fashion Awards. Debra Messing, Heidi Klum, and Liya Kebede will arrive at the New York Public Library arm in arm—in arm—with the jet-setting designer, who’s nominated for Accessory Designer of the Year. While the lovely ladies are sure to dazzle in gowns by Kors, natch, the designer himself will be recognized by his trademark aviator shades.
