Loewe F/W 2025.26 Paris

Sorry, without a proper announcement of Jonathan leaving, I find it a lack of respect towards the house of Loewe not to have a show.
As a costumer, I want an official explanation.
i wonder if theyre waiting for MGC side to finalize things? to set the wheel going because as we know one press release cant come out without the other party being ready and all that jazz

My guess is that they want a quiet transition, so that the arrival of the Proenza guys isn't immediately compared to Anderson's departure. The LMVH suits aren't stupid; they know who the better designer is, and that's why they're moving him to Dior.

You have to ask Jonathan for it. The decision comes from him.
They will announce his departure soon. Anyway.
The PS boys are probably into the resort 2026 and their debut runway show in October.

I think LVMH will announce that MGC is leaving before the show in May and it will be really marketed as her farewell show.

Didn't someone on here say that MGC doesn't want her departure announced until after the resort show?

Anyway, this would have been such a fun show! Probably would have been a top tier show too, as so many have been boring - not just collection wise!
But very excited to see what he brings to Dior! Something other than black, beige and white...

Loewe on the runway can sometimes be a hit and miss, but in the shops it has been and still remain one of my favorite go-to brands, be it jackets or pants or bags or shoes, you can always find something you like there, since day one JWA joined. I mostly enjoy how it can be a little fun, a little whimsical, colorful yet not garish, unconventional yet not OTT, just a right mix. I also love their homeware like the various collabs like the vases and stuff, I also buy their fragrances and handwash! Wow, I actually have never listed this down until now, JWA will indeed be missed!

This collection looks great too, even if it is not on the runway, I dont mind the venue it was showed.

The PS boys I really have my reservation, if judging from what they have been doing is anything to go by. I am just curious what will be the direction of Loewe moving forward?

Wow, it looks so gorgeous ! I love so many of the pieces and so many I want to wear. I only recently got into JWA's work at Loewe so I am sad he is leaving, but it really makes me super excited to see his Dior. If it is in this same vein as this, Dior will have a new customer in me.

A sentiment worth repeating, JWA you robbed us of a FABULOUS show!! This is his best offering to date! Some may look differently on models, but did not see a single bad look. Bravo to everyone at the brand, a really amazing collection!

I think it's Jonathan's most refined collection for Loewe. Every idea works really well here, and it doesn't feel too gimmicky. On the contrary, the clothes are charming and whimsical. I can see why it wasn't presented as a show and maybe it's a good thing. The pressure on Anderson must be insane now, and he cancelled his namesake brand's shows, so I can see why it was logical to present it this way.

But then, Vogue Runway posted 10 pictures from the whole presentation, the presentation of the best collection of the season... priorities. And good luck to the PS guys.

Those tweed womens coats are phenomenal
And the knitted pea coats too.
And the burgundy puzzle.
