Loewe Mens F/W 2017.18 Paris

Great looking collection, here.

As always, there are wonderful, interesting, playful pieces that look expensive and gorgeous and truly luxury. And what I do love as well, is that the styling here seems to look more intentional and less kitchen-sink than it oftentimes can with JW.

My only gripe would be that I really would prefer to see him start using some more grown up looking models. I'm really getting exhausted with these teenagers. Not that there's anything particularly wrong with this kid - but that's just it - he's a kid.

I just found out that this model is Amber Valletta's son!

It seems J.W. Anderson likes to use young sons from fashion veterans, first Camilla Nickerson's younger son, now Amber's son.

Another amazing collection with so many interesting ideas, it's full of fun and creativity which I applaud Anderson for. The 'characters' he creates are like those you would find in a movie, book or painting and I think it's truly wonderful that he always links his collections back to the Spanish heritage of the house.

That said it is also interesting to note how different the Loewe man is from the woman. Obviously much younger from the casting to the styling, I would like to see some more variety in his approach.

AMAZING! Best menswear collection of the season.
JW has managed to make LOEWE as a brand of style instead of a brand of trend. Yes, the leather goods are still perfect and are the bread and butter of the house, but by doing high-standard RTW collections, he has reached another level.

Loewe may being cool and the people who are wearing the logo sweaters may want a touch of this coolness but, ultimately, a guy (or a girl) who wears Loewe isn't afraid of making bold choices. Wearing Loewe is a sign of a particular taste that for once in this type of very conglomerate world, has nothing to do with power and sex.

As a woman, i'll wear everything but any man who can pull off one of this coat is my hero!

I'll never get tired of this...
