Loewe Resort 2025 by Juergen Teller

Nice! At least someone who’s not taking themself too seriously! Would have preferred another background though!

Trying to make people believe that you don’t take yourself too seriously sometimes mean that you take yourself too seriously, and I think this is the case.

I feel a need in JWA to be groundbreaking and “unexpected” all the time, without actually being that… and it’s kind of boring.

I wish they would go for something with no irony, just pretty for the sake of it, but I feel it’s not gonna happen.

I love the idea and I think the bodybuilders photos are very fun. But the gladiators/warriors are just plain ugly and didn't add the humor (at least for me). On the contrary, it looks very out of place.

Leo is a cutie and Sue Kroll looks like a real-life customer! I like it

Something so annoyingly British about this, as if the forced irony of Teller enmeshed itself with Tim Walker’s annoying studio shoots.

I just don’t see the Loewe in this. In fact, I see nothing. I probably come across as pessimistic but this doesn’t offer much and gives a weird bleakness to the brand.

I agree, it's so British it's more suited for Burberry than a Spanish brand but I love it anyway.
And Meisel did "pretty" Loewe, I like than Benjamin Bruno balances between Meisel's "prettiness" and Teller's "quirkiness".

This is the most random casting. Like why Sue Kroll, an entertainment marketing exec with less than 2000 followers?

I don't mind absurdism or irony done well but these photos are just lazy conceptually and technically and the "humor" or irreverence they were going for doesn't land
