Loewe S/S 2020 Paris

Easily one of the best collections from Fashion Month! He’s on another level of design that even most of these senior designers can’t touch (unless they copy him of course)!

Hmm...this is maybe the first Loewe collection in quite a while that doesn’t do anything for me.

For the first time, its scattered and disconnectedness doesn’t leave me with any kind of impression or impact. Of course, this kind of stream of conscious practice in his work has been happening for a while now, but previously, I felt like there was still something overarching that tied it all together.

There are some pretty pieces, for sure, but nothing spectacular or fresh feeling.

Plus, a few things felt a bit cheapy...those ditsy florals felt like something coming from Brock Collection....not Loewe.

This collection is very clean and that's why I like it as much as the previous Fall/Winter. What's more, there's some sense of continuation in terms of silhouettes. Everything seemed to be more practical in a way and didn't feel as crafty and busy as his spring/summer collections usually are. It's a real winner of the season to me.

This is maybe my favorite collection of the season (with Dries). Unfortunately, the pics doesn’t reflect the beauty of the whole thing...The set, with the white curtains, the whole serene atmosphere, the way the clothes moved and also the fact that it wasn’t your obvious summer collection was beyond!
It felt very Spring or Autumn...
Fabulous play on volumes but done in extreme quality!

This will be maybe one of his most underrated collection but it was fabulous...

I think that this time the tension between. The bourgeoise and the nomade was handle with a lot of subtlety. It’d a very subtle collection...Like a whisper. At a time when everybody screams (maximalism) or disappear (minimalism), it felt good and fresh. The clothes were kinda sober but with no shortage of imagination.

Having Amanda Harlech in the audience only made me dream of JWA at Chanel. Yes I said it but he is visionary now and the quality of those clothes can only make me want more from him.

He really had an amazing season!

I don't know if it's my taste or lack of interaction with his clothes irl but I never really "got" him. I feel like I have a chip missing with all this praise and universally positive comments on all his latest collections.

This one is not exception either, it feels very disjointed, and unflattering as well. It's not bad or anything but definitely not enough to resurrect my faith in fashion.

i'm not a particular fan of JW Anderson but i really like this. It's very feminine but also modern. Nothing groundbreaking and some looks are terrible but there's lots to love here

Fantastic collection, another hit from Jonathan. This is quite refined, light and feminine - but in his own way, never too precious or delicate.

He's working in such a high level these days, it's incredible.

Well I guess there you have it, I'm almost speechless.

This collection is outrageously peaceful. Yes, there is a lot of good things to say about the construction of the pieces, when you think that he cant do any better, there he is in another season, however what what really "shocked" me is how refined and out of this world his abiliity of pushing the level taste in a subtle but, loud way, is really showing in this collection. This type of o quality I have only seen on the great designers, the fashion monsters, like Galliano, Margiela, PP, TF... I could never imagine that JWA could be that type of designer, but I guess he is.

God bless you JWA. Its very hard a collection make me go so introspective, and its not even his best collection, what is happing? I gotta lot of think after this, lol.

I don't get it... are you all trolling? LOL I really don't see what's so good about this, I thought it's borderline boring. Cute, yes, but boring... not at all *that* special.

nothing about this excites me. it feels like i have seen all of this done by him before. i usually love his crafty details but this is all too worked for me. i loved the crudeness his loewe had at the beginning, especially combined with that crafty element.

really surprised to see the comments actually. There are some good pieces here but I didn't think it was great

It's a great collection but it doesn't have that wow factor for me. I definitely think he's becoming a bit too repetitive with his silhouettes, and the strongest looks were the more minimal ones. I loved the eyewear too.

Some of the collars/styling give me a clown vibe. Not avant - just clown.

The ensemble with the baby blue collar and trimmings makes one looks like an oversized baby and I don’t get the sheer looks at all

It’s an ‘ok’ collection. It just falls slightly short and lack of some thing to make me want to elevate it to the status of ‘decent’

God bless you, Jonathan. What a beautiful collection. Perfectly thought-out and well executed. Truly he is probably the most exciting designer at LVMH camp and Loewe is such underrated brand. The leather good quality is much much better. Extremely well made and gorgeous treatment. The ready to wear are beautiful, relaxed but elegant. Together with his namesake brand, he really does have an amazing season.

Something about the show helps but the collection into perspective.
