Loewe S/S 2021 Paris

Well it's no secret here that he admires Rei. This is probably his most CDG-esque collection to date.

I actually think the clothes are quite intersting but the presentation here does no favours. It's honestly a bit of an eyesore to look at.

Can someone please make a normal lookbook? Or are those ridiculous poses meant to distract us from the lackluster collection?

What happened Jonathan?

It's like what he used to do for his own line. More JW than Loewe.
The presentation is bad.
I'm not getting it right now.

I kinda like the lookbook but I’m a bit confused on what is going to be produce...It’s maybe « Anti-creative » but I find the « present a very extreme version for the press to produce a heavily diluted version for the stores » very outdated. It was frustrating when Galliano did it but it’s even more today...Even if I wouldn’t wear the extreme versions here.

I kinda like the shoes...
Loewe might have the weakest footwear department of all the LVMH and Kering brands combined. I don’t know what happened because in his early days, he delivered great shoes! I still get compliments when I wear some of them...

I think there are some nice pieces (dresses on Mona, Vittoria and Kristina, the jumpsuit (?) on Vittoria) but all the puffy dresses and voluminous sleeves should be rethought. it’s been done over and over...

Wow, the first time I am actually disappointed in a Loewe collection. Never thought this day would come. Surprisingly reductive, boring and unedited.
