"L'Officiel" Malaysia cover : Stephanie Seymour

How come I missed this one? On a rare occasion do we see Stephanie Seymour on magazine covers nowadays, so I'm wondering is the shoot new? Stephanie looks flawless as always but we could've done without the watch. Thanks for posting, versustito!

I wish people would think out of the box when they style Manon's hair. All the shots look the same because of it.

I'm a sucker for debut issues as the covers are usually so minimalist. This is no exception. Love the layout, though I would agree as well that it probably wouldn't be very popular on the newsstand.

Philippine covers work when they're commercial, cheesy, and when they're fronted by the biggest local celebrities. So as beautiful as this one is, I doubt it will sell well on the newsstands. For it to be a household name in the Philippines, the inaugural issue should've been covered by a popular celebrity so that every one (Fashion savvy or not) would know the magazine.

I'm scared for this one to end up like Spark and Marie Claire Philippines.

I saw this earlier in one of the bookstores and it literally looked out of place with all the tacky local covers.

It's gunning for a different market though, which makes me wonder how big the target market actually is. But don't wanna dwell on that and what not, because this beautiful cover should be celebrated :woot:
