I don't know, I haven't heard them, but I imagine they'd be considered a joke among purists of Scandinavian 'black metal' - which boasts performers who've been known for indulging their theatrical sides and promoting Nordic lore *long* before Lordi made Eurovision history...

Probably too busy letting each others' blood to notice (to let, five pints of blood, only £50 a month). A band from Newcastle, Venom, are supposed to be the first black metallers... and the scary folk who follow them are still in town beating each other senseless and committing the Devil knows what other crimes.

Minnesota's known for attracting their American brothers-in-crime - I doubt the correlation between black metal and Northern localities shall go amiss I say get a laugh, so long as they must be dealt with and a safe distance is able to be maintained.
