This season I'm noticing a lot of loud, bold, strong, oversized prints.

Yeah, this will probably be pretty big for the next few weeks. It's like a deliberate attempt at optimism.

That said the only ones I'm liking are the Jonathan Saunders. The rest are too....well, just too.

^^I agree. Most of them seem pretty silly and some have crossed the line into utter tackiness...Oscar, I am talking to you.

I've been noticing this trend too, sometimes it's well done and sometimes it's just really tacky and ugly
Those Peter Som dresses are amazing and beautiful! It would be like wearing a painting :P

This is going to be HUGE for Spring and Summer. MAYBE cold weather seasons as well. Most of you know that I'm a fan of Oscar de la Renta. That dress in Post #2 is fantastic. Just a lovely array of black and white with not much compromise. I also love the Marc Jacobs dress in Post #1. The Marc by Marc Jacobs dress from Post #2 is also a lovely, bold dress. Those multiple colors look very nice the way everything's styled.

What outfits would you all wear if ally of these were "ready to wear?"

Could a loud print have been any less expected at House of Holland?
(although, I do love these)

Yeah... the pictures in Post #11 does kind of look like a paint chart. Perhaps instead of shopping at Neiman Marcus or some other big-name dealer at some outlet mall, more like shopping for paint at Home Depot or Lowe's. Funny comment!

I've almost never hated houndstooth patterns. So in Post #15, it's pretty cool, especially the Moschino dress. The Emilio de la Morena outfit looks like the University of Michigan colors (blue and maize), but that whole outfit is too much for my eyes. Poor-looking outfit. However, the ankle booties are that look's saving grace.

I really felt like London was dominated by these huge big prints, from newcomers like Mary Katrantzou to Schwab and Erdem. A lot of it is kind of 'same-y' :(
