thanks marvystone! :flower: I adore that first outfit with the tartan belted cape and flowered skirt. that is so something I would wear. ^_^

also can I say I am absolutely loving the plaid coats for the boys. I think more boys should rock this look. it always makes me think of brando's plaid coat in on the waterfront... I think this look will be very relevent come autumn.

Plaid is one of those classic things that appears every year so glad its finally got its big break this coming winter =] i  it

I definatly think this will be really big this fall, I'm already seeing quite a lot of this in stores right now.. I just hope that this won't be too overplayed though when fall finally hits

Looks like we're in for a plaid autumn/winter '07-'08 as well...check the article from WWD on my blog.

I wore a tartan duffelcoat (a really cheap vintage one) last winter, and I swear, I have never had so many people come up to me and asked "where'd you get that"... so I'm sure this trend will hit really hard. Hope just not too hard, I love plaid and i'd love it to stick around for more than half a season... but it is one of those trends that are so easily overdone by H&M/Topshop/Zara/Mango almost before the actual "originals" arrive to the boutiques:(

Anyway, I want that Balenciaga little red jacket sooo bad...how much is one of those really? 2000€???3000€???... I'll probably have to steal it:ninja:

^lucky you, I got a wool tartan jacket early in 2005?, i found it on a supermarket. and I dont think my friends were very pleased with my purchase.

I bought a flared tartan minskirt in a charity shop, and 6 yards of some wide victorian lace for and underskirt...I am loving the McQueen version of this trend.

i'd still get laughed at if i even dared to wear tartan.

i altered some men's button down shirts that are in plaids..maybe i ll wear that..though i made it for my portfolio and for a guy instead XD
