Louis Vuitton F/W 2025.26 : Emma Stone & Hoyeon by Ethan James Green

Is it the first time they are not showing a fully monogrammed bag in a campaign?

the color scheme especially in emma's pictures makes this whole thing look like a holiday ad. couldve had a better selection off the collection cause there were some compelling pieces there but whatever

for his rtw campaigns i think ss17 and prefall 2016 are still his best

The problem is that lame *** white background behind the sofas/chairs which makes the images look so half-***ed and cheap. It's little details like that which outline the difference between Ethan's pedestrian work and Meisel's expertise (even if he's so lazy these days).
As someone said to me, EJG is Meisel who travels…
Since Meisel is not doing those kind of very elaborate stories on campaigns or editorial and giving that he is not travelling anymore, I guess it’s more convenient to deal with a photographer instead of an assistant doing everything remote.
But then, Vuitton is working with both. The SS campaign was shot by Meisel…(on set or remote is another question).

The couches look out of place, huh? I don't see the point of shooting them against a white background... Couldn't care less about the result, though.

Nicolas Ghesquière's Louis Vuitton campaigns have never rocked my world, but I like this. I'm appreciative of how styled, polished, elegant, and refined the campaign feels. Everything looks and feels considered, from the posing to the sofa choices. Both Emma and Hoyeon have photographed beautifully here.

I love the Hoyeon images in particular because I find her very beautiful in the ads but I have not come across a single shot anywhere in print yet - Stone is everywhere. Ugh!

I do wish the cinematic setting and atmosphere from the runway were applied to campaign shoot. Nevertheless, I love most of what I'm seeing so far, except the second image from #13:
The shot of Hoyeon crammed into a loveseat looks so uncomfortable compared to the other couch shots

I don’t know if it’s HoYeon but i asked my S.A. for the biker in brown and black.
HoYeon is definitely selling it!

It may not be my favorite campaign or collection from NG at Vuitton by I find myself surprised to actually want a lot of stuff from it.
