Louis Vuitton Fall/Winter 2005/2006: Paris

i am absolutely in love with the first section of this collection...
i love the hair...i love the opaque tights...i love the make up...
i even like the silhouette of the bags...thought not the embossed logo bit...

so elegant and chic...very french..imho...magnifique...!!..
feminine without being frilly...just grown up and sexy...very nice...
can't believe i'm saying this for the second time about a marc jacobs effort...:ninja:
i also thought this past fall was outstanding...

Marc Jacobs on Louis Vuitton
"Volume, or playing with volume and proportion, is new for me, so it was really quite fun. Even on the most structured of nipped suits, there was this release into a balloonlike shaped sleeve, so they're quite gestural and poetic. The inspiration came from art and culture, as opposed to the streets."

i really like the fact, theat marc jacobs is so good at drawing a line between what he designs for louis vuitton and what he does for marc jacobs...it seems as if two different people are designing it.....it shows how talented he is...i always look forward to louis vuitton shows because you can just imagine walking into a room wearing one of the dresses, or wearing a pair of the shoes, or of course just carrying a bag and feeling like a million dollars...this season was great...very elegant and at first glance, you might think that it is only suitable for an older clientele, but if you look at the collection piece by piece, it would look great on anyone..
