Louis Vuitton Lockit

I'm sure most all of you got the email from Louis Vuitton earlier today, but no one made a thread about it. (I don't think.)

I think that this bag will be a BIG hit. It's kind of similar to the Alma, but it's a tote. The shape is actually pretty utilitarian, and the label, is very prominently displayed.

But even more interesting to me than the bag. (Which I like, but, uh, I don't use handbags.) Is the presentation. Is purple going to be an accent color this season for the website? (Yes, I'm that boring.) It's a very 'new' approach, and I'm liking it.

I'm just so-so about this bag. If I wanted a new LV bag, I'd get one from the new Damier Azur collection.

regarding the prices:

The small suhali lockit is 13.5 x 11.5 x 6 and it $2100. The small Mono lockit is 11 x 11 x 4 and is around $750. (infos from TPF)
