Yeah I understand what you are saying..but still I'd still say no brand has all that over the top "hype" as much as Louis.

LV seems to be EVERYWHERE right now...everyone is carrying one. I was shopping at Gadzooks in the mall today and they had knockoff LV's!! Of course it didn't say LV on it, but it was the one with the dalmation print and black murakami print, I don't know how they are getting away with it, it's a blatant copy without a doubt. It amazes me, won't they get into big trouble?? I won't go anywhere near Vuitton right now, the whole reason for paying hundreds for a bag is to have something nice and unique, they are anything but at this point.

^^I've seen those too. I call them "Gooeys". When I first got my Murakami bags, I loved them....I thought they were so cute. Little did I know, not long after, everyone and their mothers were going to be carrying them. I buy all my LV bags from LV directly. I was standing in line at the bank once, and this ghetto trashy *** girl walked in with a fake white pochette, (it had about 6 colors TOPS), and had the nerve to stand there, look at my white pochette, and tell her boyfriend it's a fake! I am not a snotty person by any sense of the word, but I just turned around and said, "This bag came straight from Louis Vuitton. Now, do you see any similarities in our bags? I didn't think so. Yours is clearly a fake. Next time, don't point fingers at someone unless you know what you're talking about". I felt like such a shithead afterward, but hey, it had to be done.

Love LV... great quality.. will probably never go out of style. But I'm not a huge fan of the Murakami ones... the little monograms look like lucky charms to me. But I agree with the above statement about hermes, LV, etc... they're timeless.

LV has a lot of bags, why don't you check out the website at www.vuitton.com, they have pictures of every bag in every version (including the cerises collection) in their catalogue section.
