Louis Vuitton S/S 2026 Paris

Nicolas has been so tiring AND tired. This season is the worst of them all. When is he leaving?!? Guess he’s so deep in you know who’s a**, sorry, pants.

Why almost? Just do it :)
(Where is the pre-order option?)
Ahaha no. I have to resist. And I won’t do it lol.
It’s like an impulse buy almost.
I can contact my regular SA but then you have to put a deposit on a piece. Then when it arrives you figure it out.

The bothering part is « when it arrives ». What I like about going to the stores is being able to try the pieces, to have them fitted, to see many options. I like to buy things that I will wear again and again without it being attached to a runway styling.

The danger of not pre-ordering is that maybe the pieces won’t be produced or they won’t be bought by certain stores.

Giving what they have produced (the one leg skirt trouser situation for example), I’m positive that they will produce those pieces anyway.

His contract will end in 2028. So SS2029 will probably be his last show for Vuitton.

Now that I analysed the photos more carefully, I have to agree that there are many interesting pieces with beautiful details, but they get lost because of the hideous styling. The look posted by @Caffeine is a good example. If he presented the clothes in a cleaner way, like at the beginning of his tenure, my first impression would be completely different.

I thought this was among his stronger collections. The pieces in motion were absolutely exquisite 1 the fringe “U” drape dresses, the exposed-seam designs, the beautifully draped coats, and the sculpted jackets all carried a rare sense of elegance.

Of course, there were missteps. The plaid bow dress, while still a striking silhouette, fell short. The 80s couch print skirt with its vertical ruffles, and the cooridination suit that followed, were truly unfortunate. The scalloped apron felt destined for the LV Café.

Yet the highs outweighed the lows. Some of the separates were fabulous: the white taffeta halter, the copper plissé knit, the fur-trim mirrored coat. The puffy blue painter’s coat reimagined as a blouson was a revelation, followed closely by a floral jacket that radiated energy.

For me, these clothes command the spaces they enter.

ask them to remove the extra ruffles on the skirt (i think thats how it will look in the store anyway) and i think it will be a timeless piece. That black top will just make everything you pair with it so nice.

I bet that Lola already has a black skirt like it in her closet.
That top is perfection. It will work with so many things.

Vuitton women's collections continue to go over my head. I am just not getting it.
And I so loved Ghesquière at Balenciaga, but his entire tenure has just been confusing to me.
