Mmm, rather liking this new bag from Luella, think my favorite is the Yellow Snakeskin version, spotted it on the new Bergdorf Goodman site, also was No. 1 accessory for fall on the net-a-porter.com site - anyone seen it in the flesh, I've only seen it in pictures . . .

I'm sorry, but I hate this bag. I saw it its like a frankenstein combo of lets see...

Chanel quilted bag
Dior (for the stirrup) saddle bag
Botiker trigger bag (for the asymmetrical zippers)

and that last one... the UGG influence. gag.

I think the purple one in that first pic looks okay, but the brown one does look pretty Ugg-ish

I adore the purple one. Totally cute. I do not like the yellow and the brown is OK, but not my style.

We're in agreement, catwalker - I do like the yellow snakeskin. However, I highly dislike the other two...

I Loveeeeee this bag!

I'm guessing the Chanel reference is ironic? She certainly did that with the 'Gisele' bag (Sexed up 'Hermes' - Birkin), I think thats what makes it cool . . . ?

The stirrup is just equestrian inspired? I don't think Dior own equestrian, I think the influence seems more Hermes? Anyway the Dior saddle bag is taken from a 70's Gucci style

I like Luella's take on Classic shapes - I think its clever

Anyway I would certainly love to have this bag - anyone know how much it costs? And where its stocked?

Me no likey, i liked the giselle for a while, but now i'm not so sure, but totally not feeling this one at all, sorry

It looks like a Chanel/Dior copy (it probably is)

I like them alot, if I had the cash, I'd get one. Does anyone know how big the baby giselles are? They're pretty cute and not as expensive.

I really like this bag, saw it in Browns in London in Mint, mmm delicious, it was 399 pounds

She showed the style again in her recent New York show, heres some pictures . . .

My favourite is the crocodile with the little apples

Hi everyone!

This is my first post and I am dedicating it to Luella! Now, I know that this is not directly related to this topic, but I just want to say that I love Luella Giselle. AND I just recieved mine today!!!!! :woot: :woot:

I've been admiring this bag for a long time and had a few doubts cus people said it was impracticle, bulky, hermes rip off blah blah...........NO.

I was a bit worried after I placed my order (net a porter) and thought that worse comes to worse I can return it, but when I took it out of its dust bag today I was SO IN LOVE and all my doubts vanished!

People, this is a truely beautiful, funky, sexy, luxuriously roomy and luscious bag.

It looks nothing like it does in pictures. If you own one you will know that holding it cannot compare to looking at it in a picture or even in the departement store display. Many people have said that it is the 'new birkin' but IT IS NOT! Way sexier and 'younger'!!! (though hermes is more elegant)

AND while i was walking today (london, where I live) all the women were looking at me and several asked me where I managed to get hold of it!

SOOOOOO HAPPY!!!!!! :woot:  :woot:  :woot:

Ok, so sorry to take up so much space and bore you guys but my speech is over now.
