LUSH products? Faves and Raves please

I wish I could find samples of Lush's Soaps somewhere.. I dont have the money at the moment to shell out that amount of cash to try a product :(

me again...:( so i've been using coalface for almost a week now. the first few days were fine, but now i'm breaking out like never before! before, i had a few pimples on my forehead and on the side of my cheeks.. now, they're around my nose and my jawline too! maybe my skin needs time too adapt to it. did that happen to anyone else?

also, it's drying out my skin a bit...maybe i should reduce to using it once a day only? i'm kind of freaking out, my skin has never been this bad :(:(

Oh dear...if you have such reactions stop using it. I never believed in that "your skin will adapt to it" thing. It won't. Maybe you're allergic to one of the ingredients. Later I would give a try to Aqua Marina (someone has already mentioned that): it contains calamin known for its calming properties.

After reading the descriptions of some of their products online, I want to run over to their store and give some of them a try. I like that their website has reviews built in, but I wanted to hear from you guys: what products are your favorites? I have really sensitive combination skin on my face and am pretty much normal everywhere else. Thanks! :flower:

I can't wait til payday. I am going to buy either ultrabland or sweet japanese girl (which one? any help would be appreiceted) Tea tree toner, that really scrubby soap, maybe a few bath bombs as a treat!

Ok I bought ultrabland. Its great, I love being able to see the meke up on the cotton wool! And it feels so good when the cotton wool is coming off clean at the end. I bought tea tree toner to follow this up with and mmmm it smells like the lemon lime pop I used to drink when I was little! I also got cosmetic warrior and my skin is def. improving. It doesn't smell that garlicky either I smell honey more.

A great thing to do is to remove the Ultrabland with a cotton pad soaked in your toner. Saves a step.

I went into LUSH today for only the second time. I got some shampoo for my sister (I Love Juicy) and a bar shampoo for my boyfriend (Hybrid). I also got myself the Ambrosia shaving cream. I have yet to try it out. There was so much other stuff that I wanted but I was trying to be good!

What do you guys think about the masks that you keep refrigerated? I have fairly dry skin.

I just tried the Ambrosia Shaving Cream and I am not too impressed. It clogged up my razor worse than other other product I tried, and I rinsed it after every stroke. It was a new cartridge and it is so badly clogged that now I'm going to have to replace it already. Plus, my legs still feel really dry. I prefer the Fragrance Free Moisture Shave from Kiss My Face and Coconut Lime from Alba Botanica. Luckily I only bought the small size of Ambrosia!

I think I will buy Angels on Bare Skin because I have only heard great things about it, and the Mange Too massage bar because it just smells so delicious!

The Fresh masks (the refridgerated ones) are pretty good actually. You can use them past the two week expiry date but the become less active.

Cupcake is a good one for detoxifying and smells wonderful.

I am glad you say that because theres no way I will use my pot of cosmetic warrior in two weeks. Seriously isn't there meant to be about four applications in a pot or something? I must have a tiny face.

Thanks Ianastar. I smelled the cupcake one when I was in the store and it did smell amazing. I saw one and the description said something about how it was a mask for people who didn't really need a mask but wanted one anyway... do you have any idea which one that might be?

its 4 applications if you really go crazy on the application haha, although i dump it after 4 applications as im paranoid about keeping things for longer than a certain period

...btw why did they take away that lovely foot mask? at least they did down here

I wanted to know about how long the shampoo bars actually last and which would be the best for naturally dry thick hair. I can't currently check the US site for some reason but I was looking on the UK one and the descriptions didn't really make it easier to figure out which one would be best.

i love mask of magnaminty, even after trying several fresh masks. MOM keeps my skin in tip-top shape, as long as i use it consistently.

i have normal to dry skin and it really keeps blemishes at bay, imho.

other faves: snow fairy (LE around xmas time each year) bath gel, bubble bars, bath bombs (i'll take any that don't leave crap floating my bath...ew), ocean salt, skin drink, smitten, and dream cream are all staples for me. smitten is a brilliant thing to keep in stock at home for random gifting (everyone loves it).

See if you go in, buy a toner tab! You drop it into boiling water and just steam your face, it works amazingly! My face is so soft still, my spots are smaller and less red and it's fabulous!

I used the Tea Tree one!
