I wish I could have gotten the violet one but I'm already lucky that I got the last anthracite. The SA told me that they found it by chance and won't get any more stock in at all. Still can't believe that they actually called me after putting my name down on the list months ago (in the summer). It was so surprising that I didn't even have the time to save up some money but I guess if you get the chance you have it take it and go for it.

I wish they'd bring out the red one again. That was my favorite color out of all but they don't even pop up on ebay at all. Do you think they'll make new colors for spring?

Verena: I actually chose to pass on both colors today. I wasn't in love, I dream about the black one, like you dream of the red. I asked the SA about new colors and he didn't know anything about anything, but they never do. But I have so many dreams at the moment, so I chose to pass, because I think it's too expensive, when I am not in love with it. I considered selling it on ebay tho.

Lol, I'm sure you could have made a good profit on ebay. It was probably the sensible thing to pass on both. Unfortuntately I'm never that sensible . But you already have the brown one which I still like btw. Well, there's always next season ... hopefully.

I want to bid on ebay but I am so cautious about fakes. I once bid on a fake red one but canceled by bid after the seller told me that the authenticity was in question. So I'm in Limbo because I really don't want to pay that much to only find out it's a fake.

I have never seen fakes of this style and I really doubt that there are any becaue then there would be much more scarves on ebay (as that's always a sign) and if you look closely at the auctions most of the scarves have actually been purchased at a LV boutique and come with original receipt.

Hm, obviously I was wrong. I have never seen fakes on ebay but I just checked ioffer (because everything on there is fake) just to see if they have replicas of this scarf yet and I'm shocked that there are some. Only of the brown one so far and it's so obviously not a great copy. You can tell the difference if you have an authentic scarf. Just thought I'd post a pic so you can see the difference.

^^oh my stars! I got a rash just looking at that thing!

I ended up buying a used sprouse scarf! I got a brown one and just love it! since it was used, it came with a few snags in it, so I got it for less than retail. I wore it today for the first time and didn't catch it on anything- it was so warm and I got a ton of compliments on it.

Oh wow, I didn't know there were fakes until reading your post. Well-done, Velony!
I had a quick read of the adverts on iOffer. Some seller was slightly more honest than others because some still insist what they sell is a mix of silk and cashmere or pure cashmere (yeah right!); but some did point out the version they sell is a mix of cotton and linen. According to their pictures, I'm sure what both sides sell are the same fake stuff. I think the texture of the fake one does look quite different from an authentic one; so does the fraying hem.

Is so cold here and I've been wearing my sprouse scarf non stop. It's so big it's also great for covering up my face post injections or peels.

I know it's impossible to not get snags in these but does anyone actually have holes in theirs? i have 2-3 dime sized holes and I have no idea how they got there, hope I dont have moths... Maybe its my pesky kitties.

caroule, my brown sprouse leopard is from last year (in pix) as opposed to my newer violet sprouse leopard.
there is also a new line of sprouse out. the scarf like the leopard ones is magenta pink with roses, no leopard print.

I didn't know that there were new scarves/styles out without the leopard pattern. Sounds interesting (pink with roses). Do you happen to have a pic? Are they a cashmere/silk blend too?
