Thanks for posting, justaguy. That’s the Madonna whose honor that I vowed to protect until I die when I was a just 10 year old boy. I’m excited for her new album w/ Stuart Price. Hopefully, it sounds just as fabulous as “Confessions…” Fingers crossed.

Just discovered this right now.

The confidence, the maturity, the sophistication, the growth, the ease, the grace and the humour— the shoutout to Gaultier and Mondino in the audience while accompanied by Mirwais and Stuart onstage, is the height of her musicianship. Her strong, warm voice that soars without the need for vocal gymnastics and annoying runs, backed by a living, pulsating band is all but a memory now to the cheap caricature she’s devolved into. Just skip the dreadful first track and it’s all good.
