Magazines and Television/Entertainment

Just now on The City Olivia was offered a job as an accessories editor at Elle, however I just check my Elle October issue, and Olivia's name is not on the mast head. :judge: What's that about? Is the job fake? I surely don't see Elle in a favorable light to pretend Olivia has a job. But I may be wrong, are some editors left off the mast head?

Maybe she's fired already

She'll probably be on the November masthead since the show just started now & they didn't want anyone to know in advance... shhhh!

I just heard from the media news show infomania, that The Beautiful Life was canceled after two episodes. I guess it wasn't wise for Nina Gracia to guest star. :innocent:

MTV has a new show that will premiere quite soon called Styl'D. It's about four young people aiming for a contract to become professional stylists.

 I don't understand why the media insists on destroying the credit of my dream job.

Here's some more information:
"Styl'd," premiering Sunday, November 1 at 10:00/9:00c, follows "a diverse group of struggling junior assistants as they toil for three glamorous, highly successful celebrity stylists," one of which will ultimately be signed to a stylist contract with the Margaret Maldonado Agency. Jon Murray and Jeff Jenkins are executive producing the project for Bunim-Murray Productions.

Teen Vogue Working on a Secret New TV Show

Teen Vogue editor Amy Astley recently revealed at a talk she gave at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in L.A. that Teen Vogue is working on a new TV show. The magazine has been off the tube since Lauren Conrad and Whitney Port outgrew their fashion closet and moved over to People's Revolution for The Hills, where they finally put their big-girl pants on. Teen Vogue is mum on the project. A spokeswoman told us, "We are just working on new TV ideas at this time," and offered no further details. However, don't expect Astley to figure prominently into the show. "I don’t want to be a media personality," she said. "I’ve seen people laughed off Madison Avenue for taking the reality-star route, it can really backfire." That's why you barely saw her on The Hills. We hope the underling she put on the show in her place wasn't the one laughed off Madison (to where? The dredges of Lex? The soul-sucking hedges of Greenwich?).

Lucky Magazine was associated itself with the bravo tv show Launch My Line. D Squared designers Dan and Dean host the show.
