Making/Editing Videos for Youtube etc...

I just wanted to know which programmes/softwear are best for making your own videos to put on youtube?

I want to make my own fashion videos like from style.com but I have NO experience, so any advice, links, or suggestions would be very helpful

Windows Movie Maker is really good Even I had no problem figuring out how to edit videos and I usualy suck at things like that. My only issue was trying to get certain videos I had saved onto it...I still haven't quite mastered that (I wanna put stuff that i recorded from a recordable DVD player), but yeah...once you figure that out, really easy to use
