exactly! i took a look at all of her instagram posts on my laptop (because i'm not on instagram) and while i couldn't read the comments, i saw nothing especially egregious. in fact all her postings seem pretty typical for a 20 year old to me.

if anything, i think it's... interesting that people think they can judge the entire sum of who she is as a person based on instagram

back on topic: thanks for posting that vogue japan ed in HQ bemythink i saw some more eds (i think another one from vogue japan) on tumblr with malaika that hasn't been posted yet. i may try to find it to post it.

Because this (the bold) is what I'm afraid of. She got some editorial work in the interim between last season and this season but no major campaigns. And Binx got what, 5? Binx coupled with Aya's arrival on the scene... idk, it's still early, although I'd think Jason Wu is one of the top shows you'd want to be at, if possible... how many more A-list NY shows are there? Not many. We'll see.

ETA: not pitting any of the girls in this post against each other. I just wish the modeling world was more inclusive and progressive enough that all these girls get the opportunity to shine. But having been reading these forums for nearly 10 years, I'm (rightfully) jaded.
