Your collection of shoes is possibly the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. -tear

Oh c'mon SG. I know you have that many, probably more. :p

And probably one of those dream closets too. :D

You can't fool us.

Stamp on sole?

Hello everyone:

I've been lurking on this forum for awhile, but this is my first post!

Anyway, I recently received a pair of manolo blahnik boots that I ordered from bluefly.com. I know that products from bluefly are said to be authentic, but I noticed on my boots that there is no "manolo blahnik" stamp on the sole of each boot. Is the lack of a stamp an indication that they are fake? Does anyone own a pair of manolos that do not have a manolo blahnik stamp on each sole? I myself don't own any manolo blahniks, so no point of reference for me. I'm hoping someone can help me out here....

Im not sure, buy I think bluefly has some issue of authenticity regarding some of their handbags..

I have a pair of older Manolo boots that aren't stamped on the sole, and have seen others that aren't, but they are all much older styles with the old style insole tag (larger with a bigger font). Very strange. I'd contact bluefly for an explaination.

Thanks for the advise; I will contact bluefly. I don't think that they are fake, because they are boots, and not a particularly trendy boot at that (i.e., not the j-lo timberland manolo), but I'm not certain.

for those in london, the sale has started!!! be ready to stand in line ;)

Sorry if this has already been asked. Are Manolos or Jimmy Choos faked? Is ebay loaded with fakes like handbags are?

I love these!

How do Manolos run in size? I usually wear an 8.5 - 9. I ordered my first pair in 39. When they arrived, they just barely fit. Are they all small in size? They are just like the white pair posted above but in black. I loosened the buckle and they fit better but I'd like to know for future purchases.

pradaheaven - are those turquoise louboutin peeptoes at the bottom? if they are i am soooo jealous:blush: your closet is fab!

I just bought these:

They're my first pair of Manolos because I'm not as big a fan of Manolo as Louboutin and Choo. However I love these. I ordered them in 38.5. I normally wear a US 7.5, sometimes an 8. So I figure they should fit. I'm 38.5 in Choo. Are they similar in their fit?

And were these shoes Resort or Spring 2005?

I just discovered that he is spanish! amazing...strange last name.

and it could be a sample. Bluefly gets alot of sample shoes in. that is why the heel and the shoe looks slightly different than production ones do. post pics. I am a Manolo expert!

can anyone tell me if these Manolos on ebay are authentic. I'm afraid to buy any on there since ebay has loads of fake stuff. Item #7738742698

Are there fake Manolos on ebay?? I've asked before but no one answered.

Now *I* need an expert! This afternoon, I received a pair of "Licol" Mary Janes from Bluefly. I ordered them because: 1) thought they were cute and 2) had never seen that style and was curious. They arrived this afternoon and look suspicious. I have NEVER (even on some of the old tag Manolos) seen a tag where it says Manolo Blahnik-London. All the ones I have and have ever seen just say Manolo Blahnik followed by the trademark R. In addition to that strangeness, the tags are always sewn in a little window type thingie in the insole. This one is just sewn on the insole. Otherwise, the leather and stitching is of good quality and the correctly labeled box/dustbag look legit. One more thing... these do not have the typical leather sole. They are like Louboutins, except painted black. Correct stamps and the Manolo Blahnik embossed on the sole, with the size is all there. Here are pics and would appreciate any input!

And the inside tag:

And the "regular" tag on newer styles:
