Now *I* need an expert! This afternoon, I received a pair of "Licol" Mary Janes from Bluefly. I ordered them because: 1) thought they were cute and 2) had never seen that style and was curious. They arrived this afternoon and look suspicious. I have NEVER (even on some of the old tag Manolos) seen a tag where it says Manolo Blahnik-London. All the ones I have and have ever seen just say Manolo Blahnik followed by the trademark R. In addition to that strangeness, the tags are always sewn in a little window type thingie in the insole. This one is just sewn on the insole. Otherwise, the leather and stitching is of good quality and the correctly labeled box/dustbag look legit. One more thing... these do not have the typical leather sole. They are like Louboutins, except painted black. Correct stamps and the Manolo Blahnik embossed on the sole, with the size is all there. Here are pics and would appreciate any input!

And the "regular" tag on newer styles:

hey the third pic is the silver sedaraby right? :)

Those are just from London. If you looik on ebay and the UK sellers the London sellers have that in the insole. I think its cool! Exclusive London Shoes!

Yes, those are the silver Sedaraby shoes. I love them!

Thank you SO much for the reassuance and info! No wonder I'd never seen this style before. ;)

I think bluefly gets alot of their stuff from Europe. Europe doesn't have tons of outlets and stuff. We have Neimans Last Call places and everything so they have alot of stuff in the stores.

Bluefly to me has alot of takes on the shoes I have or have seen but they are a little different like chunky heel or round toe or something that not many Manolos have.....so its either a sample which the style that is order deviates from....or a European shoe.

London Manolos have the same concept as the ones here but just done differently

one more suggestion...call the london store to see if they got the style in. I think bluefly has alot of samples they sell because they have weird sizes

Thanks for your help!!! I got them in the mail today! They are a HAIR roomy on my smaller foot but because of the style of shoe, they are actually COMFY and perfect! Thanks so much again!

Sorry, they look odd to me. The tag shouldn't have "London" written, not even for the older styles, as i have been wearing manolos for the past 10 years. I will return them if i were you.

I love red shoes and Manolos, so these two are great in my book:

I was hoping he would do the MJ in red. Has anyone seen it IRL? It sort of looks like it has a pink tint in it instead of a true red.

have you ever seen manolos worn in the mud?

Yes, a New Year's Eve several years ago... and they were on my feet. I was mortified the next day (little too much bubbly). Fortunately, I had maintained a little bit of sense and they weren't covered in mud, but I did have to spend some time doing a lot of TLC to make up for my huge blunder. I still have them (black leather Frodos) and they still look great! Another testament to the quality of Manolo shoes... although I wouldn't recommend trying this just to see.

but wouldnt it be worse if you have to put your muddy feet back in your shoes. well, actually they'd still look good on the outside.
