I know it's a totally different shoe but I have a pair of Kurt Geigers which are white patent with a black trims and button. I really hope it's not too sacrilegious to post KG on the Manolo thread

I absolutely love the black with white trim. They remind me of a pair of Prada heels I've been looking for for a while.
Although I'd vote for the black ones to be on the safer side it also depends on your wardrobe and what kind of shoes you already have. If you have a couple of plain black patent shoes (incl. the Mary Janes) I'd maybe consider the white ones.

I was a bit like ehhh on the white with black trim but after seeing the pic of the KG's i think it could be really fresh and chic and perfect for spring. The only thing i can think to be careful of is any yellowing of the white patent. I think black with white (and the strap) is a little too 20's jazz shoes for me. The white would be perfect for spring

I know you have your own opinions, and I respect that. But personally, I refuse to pay that much for a shoe. You can find really nice shoes everywhere else too...for like 1/4 of the price... Also just because someone doesn't want to buy Manolos doesn't mean they have bad taste........ and I hope I don't buy a pair when I get older. I'd feel guilty for spending that much money on shoes.

Womanolo - Hah ohhh then that's good if they're comfortable then. I've never tried on a pair of them. So I don't know about that.

I just don't like the idea of shoes that expensive, when a lot of them are very simple. Sorry to offend anyone, but that's just my opinion on them lol.

Hey, relax hah. :] I don't have anything against Manolos. A lot of them are pretty, and so I'm still going to post here to say which shoes I like/don't like... It's just I personally don't think that these are worth their prices. That's all.

I agree with you although I still think 1000 dollars is a little over the top. But a couple of years ago I didn't want to spent more than 200 and now I think $500 is ok.

oh I have the low down on come cabbage gossip. I found out Neimans is doing a very very small handfull of them...and in a 105 instead of a 115. so if anyone wants the low down. pm me
