okay ladies thoughts?!! I am debating between going after the cabbage or the camo sedaraby. They are quite diffrerent (one being very collectable and different. the other more everyday) since i don't wear heels too often not sure which direction to go in. they are both quite fun which i like. Also thinking about these rafia shoes (in addition to, not either or). I think they would look great with a pair of bootcut lighter wash Sevens I have and a white top for summer. I really like the louboutin flats for this summer (more so than the manolo ones) but i'm worried about the quality of them since i would wear them everyday which is why i'm thinking these instead. pic from Neimans.

I'd get the cabbage and the camo, pass on the raffia

ok, guccigal encouraged me to post my shoes so here they are, my recent purchases. i am shoe-posting shy i guess. i thank guccigal for helping me acquire my recent purchases.

the cabbage shoes ARE tdf. they are definitely over-the-top but SO unique. now i am hunting for a dress to go with them. i am thinking something strapless, not too fitted, and black. i have pre-ordered some strapless miu miu and DvF dresses from NAP and they should come in soon. i will post pics of the whole ensemble and hope to get everyone's opinions about the look.

the astocha shoes are also very fab, and very easy to wear.

btw, those manolo tati shoes that guccigal posted a few posts back, in green patent and burgundy patent are mine. THEY ARE SO COMFORTABLE. i wore my green ones for over 8 hours at a conference one time, walking around like mad, standing for hours on end. sure, my feet ached at the end of the day, but they would whether i wore heels or flats, or no shoes. i have seen all the colors that guccigal posted, and i would say the green patent, burgundy patent, and the purple suede are the most unique.

and have anyone seen these new shoes by manolo?? pardon my ghetto drawing, but i did not have a camera on me. the color is a lime green (i think) with lime green swarovki crystals on the buckle, which stick out. there's also some red floral motif at the toe box as well. it's really gorgeous....

Meg: i think you should get the camo sedaraby first if you have a choice between that and that cabbage, mainly because it's more wearable. but if you have a chance to get the cabbage, don't pass it up!

congrats on all the purchases everyone!

i just got back from the city and a visit to the manolo sale.
the sizes were a bit limited, but i was able to find two pairs in my size.
caprara in red and bri in gold - will post pics soon.
i cannot believe how much more comfortable they are compared to louboutins!
i also put my name down for the rose sedaraby in pink.
they had a few styles of the marie antoinette shoes, i did not see the cabbage shoes though.
