no - I'm not that familiar with her. Not that big of a deal.

Maybe your screen colors are warped (or maybe mine are) but i'm definately not seeing lime green and orange. I'm getting a really rich true (perhaps kelly?) green with red. Anyway, i prefer simplicity and something that shows off or compliments shoes and with so much going on (embroidery/beadwork, strong colors, interesting shape, rhinestones) having somethign that competes will not work. Though GG i think you have a very good eye for combining colors since you have a wide variety of brights in your closet.

KEEP THE TOFI! i have mine coming to me too. yippee! i am debating whether i should keep them or not. i think wearing a LBD OR LWD would be great with them. when i get the shoes and my white dresses, i will snap photos and post. i really think the tofi are really unique! but i know that if the buckle irritates you shouldn't keep gg. the pair i tried on in the store, the buckle did not bother me at all.

and what do y'all think of the cabbage with these dresses? i just got them from NAP. the black dress is by DvF. i think i will return b/c it's too dressy for me. the other is by tbags. i will order some white dresses to go with cabbage, and hopefully with tofi also. let me know your thoughts ladies!

I like seeing the cabbage shoes with color but i also think that DvF dress looks GREAT. love the gold clutch with the tbags dress and the shoes

i like both dresses, but i think the shoes would look best with a constrasting color.....white, yellow, ivory.
the blue/gray tbags dress matches too much imho.
i see the tofi with white as well.

thanks for your comments ladies. i appreciate your honesty. i agree with you, that a contrasting dress is best. this is what i have on special reserve on NAP. i will order these once i return my other stuff to them. what do you thinK? one is by vanessa bruno, the shift dress is by DvF (i love DvF also ojo!! my fav! ). i honestly think the DvF shift dress will go REALLY well with the cabbage and tofi shoes. (pics from NAP)

mona - thanks so much for your links to the saks dresses. i actually had the cynthia white dress on pre-order! the yellow dress is great too, but i don't think for me, i want to mix the green cabbage with a yellow dress. i will stick with whites/ivories. but it's a great yellow dress!

meg - i hope you can get your hands on the cabbage shoes!!!!!!!! keep us posted about this!

I think the cut of the black dress flatters you a lot more than the greyish blue one. Also, a contrasting color would bring out the shoes more.
