^ yes, but this is his best result in ages, not to mention his best result at Wimbledon ever! I hope so much he gets his old form back, or get as close as possible to that form.
Yes, Federer will be difficult to beat. But Marat is now one of the few tennis players to reach the semifinals or finals of all four Grand Slams, and that is an accomplishment in and of itself. Moreover, grass is his weakest playing surface, so again it is a testament to his hard work and talent that he's made it this far. I can barely breathe at the moment, I am so happy, and so, so proud of him.

that is one sexy man!!
as much as i love federer, Safin is the man to win wimbledon!! everyone wants that feisty player back, no? such an exciting tennis player!!!!!!!
very proud and glad he didnt give up on tennis... anyone know what his ranking would be after wimbledon?
^^ he definitely does! especially when he turns it to his advantage and crashes the opponent!
I think he can give Federer a hard time if he plays the way he did until now. He did beat him in the Australian open semi-final in 2005! The thing with Marat is, if he plays his best game he can beat anybody, but than again if he doesn't anybody can beat him...
I don't think we can have a huge hopes for a semi-final against Roger! Roger is a king of grass and playing really amazing this time on W. Unfortunately, only Nadal can beat him (Nadal doing something unbelievable recently )
But I'm looking forward to see the beautiful match of my fav players Good luck to Marat, my all time tennis love
^^LOL as if, he is a good player but i dont like his style he is like a cowboy but what i do like is his temperment, i LOVE seeing players show emotion, specially since Roger is such perfect cold robot lol.
He played very well but way to many unforced errors,i loved when he screamed hahah, nothing hotter than a guy getting angry like that.
