It came! I love it. The leather is soft and smooshy and very cuddle-worthy. It's a tad bigger than I was expecting, but then I'm petite and most things will be bigger on me than on the model.

the pockets are convenient, too. And compared to the Bayswater, it's pretty lightweight.

goodjeans, I got the black. The stone was too flesh-toned, I thought, and the firebird wasn't offered on shopbop. I was looking for versatility, anyway. I plan for this to be my only handbag purchase this year, but we'll see how it goes. What color do you have?

quimby - hurrah! mine's black too - i, too, was tempted by the stone color but glad i got it in black because i dont have to worry about it getting dirty etc. i give it a nice shine once in a while and the leather stays nice and squishy just like the first time you see it. great buy (though am a bit biased haha)!

i saw this bag last month in harvey nichols in saudi arabia (riyadh) and i think they still have it, it's definitely HUGE! i'm about your size maybe a little shorter and the bag was ridiculously big on me. but if you want it for traveling and stuff it might work.

I was dying for the dr Q. Delancey bag but when I saw it last month at Barney's co-op it was just too big/heavy for what I was looking for. Such a beautiful bag though.

bought my first marc by mj bag this week, but it's going back. I got the behati in cream because I saw it on a girl across the way at brueggers last month and it caught my eye. but then the bag came, and it's HUGE, I guess I didn't realize that I'm much shorter than the girl or something, it just didn't look at all on me like it did on her. oh well, more money for the next purchase...
