bought my first marc by mj bag this week, but it's going back. I got the behati in cream because I saw it on a girl across the way at brueggers last month and it caught my eye. but then the bag came, and it's HUGE, I guess I didn't realize that I'm much shorter than the girl or something, it just didn't look at all on me like it did on her. oh well, more money for the next purchase...

Really? I was planning on buying the Behati bag too...
May I ask how tall you are? Or do you have any photos of you holding it?

Oh and one more thing, did it fit comfortably under your arm?

I'm sorry but I don't have a camera. I'm only 5ft tall. It fits very comfortably under my arm. The handle drop is more than ample.

I'd say the behati is just as big as my oversized muse. But because it's more square (although I realize it slouches with use), it looks more blocky and awkward than my muse does on me.

I bought the Marc by Marc Totally Turnlock Shopper in the red color from shopbop a while ago (I love it btw) and I was wondering how I should clean it? I use it for school so it's alittle dirty. I emailed the shopbop customer service and all they said was to try taking it to somewhere that works with leather to get their recommendation. I was wondering if anyone has this bag and has used something that works? I want to be very careful with it...

Has anyone 5'7+ tried on the Behati, Mighty Weekender, or dr. Q Delancey tote? I've been reading about how huge is it, but the posters tend to be on the short side. I'm just wondering if the bags would look a little bit better on taller girls because I've been eyeing the Mighty Weekender for my birthday. it's in between the sizes, so if it's too big, then I'll go with the Behati and beg for that.

^^ I have a Turnlock Teri and I use some sort of leather conditioner on it that also kind of cleans it. I use it whenever I see scratches and it makes them disappear! I've also heard "loving my bags" or applegard products are good, but I have never tried them myself since they don't have them here!

I'm around 5'6" and I tried on the Mighty Weekender IRL and it seems like an okay size. Obviously, it's a big bag, but it didn't seem to overwhelm me or anything so I'm sure it'll look even better on you!

^ Yup, that's the one I'm talking about. I really want it. I'm not that much taller than you (5'7 1/2 - 5'8), so I appreciate your response. I was thinking about using it for school because I have a shopper tote (Dooney & Bourke), but it's a bit smaller than the weekender (16"x11"x4", I think) and it's showing wear and tear. Thanks. Hopefully the bag'll still be there for my birthday or christmas.

It would be good for school, but it seems to big for school (at least for me)! You can fit ALOT in there which is good if you have alot of books to carry around.

I'm sure the Weekender will still be there - I think it's been there for quite some time!
Hope you get it for Christmas

^ i think it may be a main line Marc Jacobs bag? i could easily be wrong though. i think it's studded canvas, i remember seeing it on Cameron Diaz. i don't know if that helps at all.

yes after spending an hour procrastinating and doing research I think it's from the sweet punk line of marc j's main line. Cameron's is just like that except the one above is longer and more tote like. oh well. actually the more i look it i think you're right. i think it's exactly the same as Cameron's it's jus whatever she has in there is making it look longer. Anyway i don't think it's available anymore. bah!

Does anyone have the MbMJ Saddle bag and can provide a review on the bag?
It either this bag or the Behati for my next purchase and I'm wondering whether the shoulder drop on the bag is too long or if it's too small!

Has anyone seen these in real life? I've a thing for washed leather, and like it's casual, no-fuss look. I've been wanting a stone coloured bag, but this stone seems to have quite a pinkish tone to it, it's more flesh than a grey stone, but I have the Andrea Brueckner Vegas Bucket Bag in brown and probably don't need another brown bag (as gorgeous as it is).
